Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Welcome to the Preschool Ministries of Copperfield Church!
Our purpose is to assist families like yours in the spiritual development of our little ones by offering age-appropriate learning that encourages them to discover God in a personal way. We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and nurturing atmosphere in which our youngest ones can enjoy themselves while their parents are participating in church-related worship and activities.
At Copperfield Church, we understand the immeasurable potential in the life of each child, beginning with infants and continuing through their preschool years before entering Kindergarten. We are committed to partnering with families and helping preschoolers begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus, bringing them up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).
Through the instruction of our gifted teachers, our preschoolers learn foundational concepts about God, including who He is, what He has done, how He loves them, and how they can follow Him. We consider it our calling and our mission to minister to your family by caring for your preschooler.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to become involved in this life-changing ministry, please feel free to contact me at 281-856-2273, or e-mail me!

At Copperfield Church, visitors are an opportunity to make new friends! We are always delighted to welcome new children. Please enter through the Preschool Ministry entrance, where you will be greeted and asked to fill out a registration card at our Guest registration area. We will determine by the age of your preschooler which room they will be in and we will be happy to escort you to their class and introduce their teachers. Through our computer check-in system, you will be issued a visitor security tag. There are vibrating pagers available for all preschooler rooms under two years old, as well as for older preschoolers upon request.
Lots of learning happens on Sunday mornings in Preschool. Preschool classes are available during both services, and all lessons are based on stories from the bible. By using Bible stories, music, hands-on crafts, Bible video clips, and exciting activities in small group and large group settings, we do our best to engage every preschooler in the lesson. And with Bible stories geared just for little minds, children leave the classroom each week with a bigger understanding of the God who created them.
To protect the safety and security of all preschoolers, a security nametag and matching receipt for parents are printed upon check-in at one of our computer kiosks. In addition, only adults with the security receipt will be allowed to pick up their child. Your help is appreciated so that we can keep our preschoolers safe. Our preschool classes open 15 minutes prior to services, adult small group times, and other scheduled events. An adult wearing a Preschool Ministry badge or nametag will take the child inside the room and make him/her comfortable.
There is an area provided for you and your baby’s nursing needs. Any coordinator or teacher will gladly direct you to the area that is designed for use by nursing mothers.
PNO is a ministry of Copperfield Church that is intended as a way for parents to have a well-deserved night out while their children (birth through 5th grade) play with their peers. A snack, a craft, recreation, and some careful supervision are all provided during the evening. Classes are kept small, so registration fills up quickly.
PNO is on select Friday nights from
Pricing for a family is $15 for one child, $20 for two children, and $25 for three or more children. For more information, or to reserve your spot, contact Ann Wolny at email@example.com.
Family Dedication is an opportunity for parents to thank God for their child and ask for grace and wisdom in raising him or her. It is also an opportunity for our congregation to commit themselves to the support of those parents and their children in the years to come.
At Copperfield Church, Family Dedication happens three times a year during the Sunday morning worship service. Preschoolers and their families are presented on the stage with the Pastor leading the church family in a prayer for the child and their family. Prior to the dedication is a class designed to equip and prepare parents.
Our next Family Dedication is May 7. If you would like to participate in family dedication, please contact Ann at firstname.lastname@example.org.
